Is a grate author and he was written many books for development in many languages like:-

1- Microsoft Visual Basic 2005 Step by Step by Michael Halvorson (Paperback - Nov 2 2005)

2- Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 Professional Step By Step by Michael Halvorson (Paperback - Sep 4 1998)

3- Arbeiten mit MS- DOS QBASIC. by Michael Halvorson and David Rygmyr (Paperback - Jan 1 1991)

4- Learn Visual Basic Now: Everything You Need to Teach Yourself the Newest Version of Microsoft Visual Basic by Michael Halvorson (Paperback - Dec 30 1996)

And I have development experience on the basis of said books have a much pretty good tricks and tips for new developers and advance developers.
